Description
The Salomon HPS Taka Splitboard + Skins is a complete set for freeriders who love venturing off-piste. The board and climbing skins work seamlessly together, allowing you to combine ascent and descent in deep snow without carrying a lot of gear.
The tapered directional shape gives you more width in the nose and a narrower tail, which improves float in powder and ensures stable turns. With a flex rating of 8 on a scale of 10, the board leans towards the stiffer side: It responds precisely to weight shifts and maintains its stability even at higher speeds.
Powder Camber refers to a combination of an upturned nose (rocker) for better float in deep snow and classic camber underfoot for stability and pop. "Tapered Directional" means the nose is longer and wider than the tail, allowing the board to glide effortlessly over soft snow
